Introduction to Statistics

4.00 units
This course will introduce statistical investigation. A statistical investigation begins with a research question. Then the investigation proceeds with the following steps: -Produce data: Determine what to measure then collect the data -Explore the data: Analyze and summarize the data (also called exploratory data analysis), -Use probability to understand how samples vary -Draw a conclusion about the population. In this course, we detail and apply these sequenced steps. Your learning will be supported by technology to produce, interpret, present, and draw conclusions from data.
