Dr. Gio Sosa, Dean of Institutional Effectiveness, Research, and Planning at Crafton Hills College, has been selected by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office to co-lead the statewide Vision-Aligned Reporting Academy. His appointment recognizes the effective data practices developed at Crafton Hills College and their impact on institutional decision-making and student success.

Under Dr. Sosa’s leadership, Crafton has refined its data collection and reporting processes, ensuring that faculty and administrators have access to clear, actionable insights. These efforts have helped streamline student support initiatives and align institutional goals with the state’s Vision for Success.

The Vision-Aligned Reporting initiative aims to improve how colleges across the state report on key student success metrics. Dr. Sosa’s role will involve sharing best practices, collaborating with institutional researchers across the system, and helping colleges use data more effectively to support students.
