Crafton Hills College's commencement season wraps up with ceremony recognizing Roadrunner accomplishments

Crafton Hills College celebrated an "unstoppable" Class of 2024 during its annual Commencement Ceremony on May 21. Hundreds of graduates and their families and friends flooded the Yucaipa-based college's quad for the event, which officially began with one of President Kevin Horan's favorite traditions: a selfie with the audience.

Crafton Hills College's 2024 Grad Season continues with EOPS, NextUP, CARE, CalWORKS and Dreamers recognition ceremony

The Class of 2024 will always have a friend in Crafton Hills College. That was the message of this year's EOPS, NextUP, CARE, CalWORKS and Dreamers graduation and scholars' ceremony, which brought dozens of graduating Roadrunners and their families and friends to "Crafton's Room," aka the Finkelstein Performing Arts Center, on May 10.

The Crafton Hills College Academic Senate celebrated the excellent work of the College’s faculty by selecting two full-time faculty members and one part-time faculty member as its outstanding faculty of the year. Ernesto Rivera (Counseling) and Danielle McCoy (Math) were chosen as the most outstanding full-timers, and Wendy Lamb (English) was recognized as the top part-time faculty member.

Four Black/African American students from Crafton Hills College were among the more than 1,000 invited to attend the 2024 A2MEND Conference held March 6-8 in Los Angeles. The annual event connects African American male students to groups working collaboratively to eliminate barriers they face while working to obtain a higher education.
