Crafton Hills College (CHC) announces its summer class schedule, providing an opportunity for prospective and current students to get started or get ahead in their education at an affordable cost.

Vacation plans or binge-watching shows on Netflix is a common to-do list item for many in relationships. But one married couple from Redlands have completed a sought-after milestone as they graduated from Crafton Hills College as part of the Class of 2024.

Crafton Hills College celebrated an "unstoppable" Class of 2024 during its annual Commencement Ceremony on May 21. Hundreds of graduates and their families and friends flooded the Yucaipa-based college's quad for the event, which officially began with one of President Kevin Horan's favorite traditions: a selfie with the audience.

The Class of 2024 will always have a friend in Crafton Hills College. That was the message of this year's EOPS, NextUP, CARE, CalWORKS and Dreamers graduation and scholars' ceremony, which brought dozens of graduating Roadrunners and their families and friends to "Crafton's Room," aka the Finkelstein Performing Arts Center, on May 10.

On May 3, the ACUE Pinning Ceremony took place at the District Office to honor participants who completed 25 weeks of teaching, learning, and equity training provided by the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE). ACUE, renowned for offering the sole teaching certification endorsed by the American Council on Education, specializes in certifying faculty in its Effective Teaching Practice Framework.

Crafton Hills College (CHC) students looking to enhance their job-seeking skills through the sessions offered by the College’s Career Center were treated to the Center’s Networking & Employer Appreciation Luncheon on April 29.

CHC hosted a memorable evening for its alumni providing an opportunity for former students to reconnect, reminisce, and mingle with fellow alumni during a private reception on April 27.

The Crafton Hills College Academic Senate celebrated the excellent work of the College’s faculty by selecting two full-time faculty members and one part-time faculty member as its outstanding faculty of the year. Ernesto Rivera (Counseling) and Danielle McCoy (Math) were chosen as the most outstanding full-timers, and Wendy Lamb (English) was recognized as the top part-time faculty member.

“Omigod! Omigod, you guys!” It looks like Elle Woods will make her Finkelstein Performing Arts Center (PAC) debut this spring! For three days, April 26, 27 and 28, Crafton Hills College’s (CHC) Theater Arts Department will stage “Legally Blonde: The Musical,” a Broadway adaptation of the 2001 hit film of the same name.

On Friday, March 1, Crafton Hills College celebrated the graduation of Paramedic Class 102. Family, friends, faculty, and preceptors (volunteers who help train paramedic students) filled the Finkelstein Performing Arts Center for the event.

A carnival-themed event welcomed 517 seniors from ten local high schools, all eager to explore the opportunities awaiting them at the CHC on April 12.

'Chorus of Displaced' introduces Crafton community to realities of war and how it shapes lives."Chorus of the Displaced," by Kyong Boon Oh, a first-generation Korean immigrant artist, utilized photos to weave a story of heartbreak experienced by those who suffered loss and a sense of displacement during the 1950-1953 Korean War, including her own father.

Crafton Hills College (CHC) proudly announces Damian G. Garcia as the 2024 Outstanding Alumni Award recipient. This accolade, presented each year by the CHC Foundation, recognizes a former student who exemplifies the dynamic and positive qualities the Crafton experience can produce.

Approximately 250 college and high school counselors gathered at the Riverside Convention Center on March 7 for the 2024 Annual Counselor Conclave organized by the Inland Empire/Desert Regional Consortium.

Four Black/African American students from Crafton Hills College were among the more than 1,000 invited to attend the 2024 A2MEND Conference held March 6-8 in Los Angeles. The annual event connects African American male students to groups working collaboratively to eliminate barriers they face while working to obtain a higher education.
