The College hosted events including movie screenings; a discussion with Professor Ryan Bartlett on Pariah, an independent film about the Black LGBTQIA+ experience; a discussion with Professor Robert Brown about the One Book, One College novel Between the World and Me; and an exploration of mental wellness facilitated by Art with Impact, a nonprofit group who promotes mental wellness by creating space for young people to learn and connect through art and media. The month will close with a celebration of Langston Hughes’ poetry, collaborations, and influence.
