From CHC to RN

Dr. Sam Truong facilitated the first in a new student workshop series held at the Henry Stone STEM Success Center called "from CHC to ...". Crafton alumni in various phases of their nursing programs and careers were on hand to give advice to our pre-nursing students at this first workshop "from CHC to RN" (registered nurse).

Current Crafton students considering nursing as a career choice interacted with and gleaned advice from former students who shared their experiences. Suggestions from our alumni ranged from navigating the courses here and studying tips to personal experiences at transfer institutions and employment opportunities in a variety of settings. Future workshops including "from CHC to PA" (physician’s assistant) and "from CHC to RD" (registered dietitian) will introduce students to other career paths this semester.
