CHC faculty, staff, and students, along with their friends and family, volunteered to sort and organize 22,215 pounds of food on Saturday, November 13 as participants in a “Three Peaks” volunteer event to challenge students to engage, learn and advance.
Director of Student Life Dr. Ericka Paddock noted, “The Three Peaks Challenge has been part of the college since 2014. We feel that service projects such as these help foster strong social connections and embody our institutional value of civic engagement.”
The sorted food will be distributed to needy families in our community through the holidays. Way to go, Roadrunners!
