Veterans Resource Center Represents Crafton in the Community

The Crafton Hills College Veterans Resource Center (VRC) represented the College at two Veterans Day celebrations.
On November 6, VRC Coordinator Steve Rush, along with a group of CHC student veterans, set up an information booth at the Highland Inaugural Veterans Day event. Festivities for the family-oriented day included a patriotic agenda, special guest veterans as well as local dignitaries.
On November 11, Dean of Student Services Joe Cabrales,VRC Coordinator Steve Rush, VRC Counselor Lisa Mills, and student veterans represented Crafton at the Redlands Veterans Celebration. The event included a parade, food vendors, live music, fly overs, military vehicles, and vendor booths. Army veteran Gary Hatfield, CHC class of 1972, stopped by to say hello to the CHC group.
The VRC provides assistance to veterans and their dependents that may be eligible for educational benefits and helps transition veterans from military to civilian life within the academic environment.
