The City of Yucaipa has installed street banners that promote its hometown college, Crafton Hills. Funding for this project comes partly from donations received through the Crafton Hills College Foundation.
“The banners installed in the City of Yucaipa will increase the visibility and awareness of Crafton Hills College,” says Ray Casey, city manager. “Crafton has been a long-time partner of the city and we’re pleased to feature them through this collaborative effort.”
Mike Strong, vice president of administrative services, says, “This partnership cements our relationship with Yucaipa and our intent to be the college of choice for the region. The banners will increase the awareness in our community of the great college right in their own backyard.” Strong unveiled the banners for the Yucaipa City Council at the August 13 meeting, and thanked them for their continued support of the College.
The banners, which depict the various academic programs at the college, were installed on 14 different light poles around the campus.
