Fire Academy 112 at Run Through Redlands

Crafton Hills College Fire Academy cadets demonstrated their dedication to service by volunteering at the Run Through Redlands, a fundraising event benefiting the Kiwanis Club of Redlands programs. Their participation did not go unnoticed, as Kiwanis representative and former SBCCD Trustee Donna Ferracone, shared her appreciation for the cadets' efforts.

"As always, Ryan, they represented the Academy very well. We are so thankful for their participation and help. My Kiwanis Club loves them," Ferracone wrote in an email to CHC Fire Chief, Ryan Harold.

The annual Run Through Redlands brings the community together for a day of fitness and philanthropy, supporting local youth and service initiatives. The cadets played an integral role in ensuring the event ran smoothly, assisting with logistics and safety for participants and urging them on throughout the course

Fire Academy cadets are no strangers to stepping up when needed, and their presence at community events like this one reinforces their commitment to service beyond the classroom. Their professionalism, teamwork, and enthusiasm continue to earn the admiration of local organizations and community members alike.

Crafton Hills College is proud of Academy 112 for upholding the values of the Fire Academy and making a positive impact on the community. Their hard work and dedication serve as a testament to the caliber of training and leadership fostered at CHC.
