College Adopts New Logo & Branding
Publish Date: Oct. 5, 2015
As part of a new branding initiative, Crafton Hills College hosted a brand positioning workshop on April 3, 2015. Representative from students, alumni, community members, faculty, staff, Foundation and K-12 participated in the workshop to help define and shape Crafton’s brand.
From that workshop, ideas for a new logo emerged. Several graphic designers were tasked with creating a logo that reflects our brand positioning statement and key words (Growing, Life-Changing, Opportunities, Beautiful, Supportive, Success), and includes Crafton’s visual assets (hills or architecture). These designs were vetted by many campus groups including the All Secretaries Group, Management group (twice), CHC
Foundation, Academic Senate, a Psych 101 summer class and at workshops on Flex Day and In-Service Day on August 17.
The new logo has been selected and will be rolled out over the next year. A Graphics Style Manual has been created for the new logo.
