Crafton Hills College Administrative Assistant Rebecca Abeyta has been nominated for the California Community Colleges Classified Employee of the Year Award, recognizing her dedication to student success, leadership, and community impact.

Crafton Hills College and California State University, San Bernardino have launched Coyotes on the Horizon, a strategic partnership aimed at streamlining the transfer process, increasing Associate Degree for Transfer completions, and enhancing awareness of the Transfer Success Pathways Program, with an official signing ceremony on April 17 at CHC.

Dr. Gio Sosa, Dean of Institutional Effectiveness, Research, and Planning at Crafton Hills College, has been selected by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office to co-lead the statewide Vision-Aligned Reporting Academy. His appointment recognizes the effective data practices developed at Crafton Hills College and their impact on institutional decision-making and student success.

On March 1, Crafton Hills College and San Bernardino Valley College proudly co-hosted the 10th Annual ASL Educators Collaboration Conference at San Bernardino Valley College. This milestone event was the largest yet, with 120 registered participants and five dedicated student volunteers.

Renée Azenaro, Associate Professor of Visual & Multimedia Arts at Crafton Hills College, had her mixed media painting “seep/crust” selected for the L.A. Open exhibition in January at the TAG Gallery in Los Angeles. This prestigious annual exhibition highlights a diverse range of artistic talent, showcasing the works of 100 artists chosen from over 700 submissions.

Crafton Hills College celebrated the graduation of its 105th Paramedic Program cohort on March 14, marking the end of an era as the final ceremony in the soon-to-be-demolished Performing Arts Center and the last hybrid class to complete the program.

The EOPS Department hosted a Scholars Luncheon on March 12 to celebrate the academic achievements of 244 students from the EOPS, CARE, CalWORKs, NextUp, and DREAMer programs who earned a GPA of 2.7 or higher.

On Wednesday, March 5, CHC hosted the STEM Transfer & Career Fair, a dynamic event designed to connect students with opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The Artlands exhibition at CHC featured works from seven artists and an interactive reception on March 5. The exhibit runs until March 28, with more artwork at The Artlands Creative gallery in Redlands.
