Publish Date: Dec. 18, 2014
Have you always wanted to run your own business but not known where to start? Or perhaps you've already started a small business and need more inspiration to know how to move forward?
Crafton Hills College will offer a course in entrepreneurship in Spring 2015. The redesigned course, BUSAD 105 Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, will introduce you to fundamentals of business ownership, assist you in creating your own entrepreneurial opportunities and excite you toward the prospect of being your own boss.
Students in the course will learn how to evaluate business concepts and effective strategies for developing a business plan. The course will include opportunities to brainstorm opportunities, develop business concepts, better understand financial issues, identify sources of capital, and craft a solid marketing strategy—all skills necessary to building a successful business. Each student who successfully completes the course will leave with a comprehensive business plan.
BUSAD 105 will meet on Wednesday evenings from 7 – 9:50 p.m. on the Crafton Hills College campus in CNTL-217. Spring semester begins January 12.
