Titles, Headings and Text
Page Titles
- Capitalize all important words in a title, as if you were capitalizing the title of a book.
- Avoid the terms "Crafton" or "CHC" as they are implied by context.
Headings
- Do not use Heading 1 (h1) in your page. It is already being used by the page title.
- Do not use headings just to enlarge sections of text. Headings should be used for organization and accessibility only. When misused they will be confusing to users of screen readers.
- Do not bold headings
- Do not italicize headings
- Use heading styles like an outline as shown below with your content (I have indented for clarity. Please do not indent.)
Correct:
Heading 2
Heading 3
Heading 3
Heading 4
Heading 4
Heading 3
Incorrect
Heading 1
Heading 3
Heading 2
Heading 4
Heading 1
Text
- Text should be left-aligned; not centered, right-aligned, or justified.
- Do not underline text that is not a link.
- You may use italics or bold text for emphasis, but not both on the same text.
- Do not bold entire paragraphs.
- Do not italicize anything longer than a sentence.
