Crafton Hills College Fire Academy: The San Manuel Pay it Forward Campaign

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians has provided a grant to remove barriers for students enrolling in the CHC Fire Academy. These funds provide $3,000 to cover out of pocket expenses for each cadet in Academies 107 through 116. We are asking for sponsors, and along with our alumni to “pay it forward” when they are in a position to do so - in some cases, that may be now. Our goal is to secure a $5 Million endowment so that we can continue to provide the $3,000 beyond Academy 116. If you can help us by donating to the CHC Foundation, we would greatly appreciate it. Each cadet who offsets the $3,000 now or later will be added to a perpetual acrylic plaque that will be hung in the Fire Academy classroom.

You don’t need to pay all at once, payments can be made over a three year period.

  • 1 Time Payment $3,000
  • 6 Month = $500 per month
  • 1 Year = $250 per month
  • 2 Year = $125 per month
  • 3 Year = $84 per month

Your investment will cover the costs of uniforms, certifications, PPE rentals, and SCBA rentals for our CHC Fire Academy cadets.

100% of your donation will support students in the CHC Fire Academy.
