Home Health Aide Certificate
Home Health Aides (HHAs) care for individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities. The HHA assist clients of all ages in the home environment assisting with personal care as well as monitoring health conditions. To work as an HHA, the professional must have an active CNA certificate and a state HHA certificate. The HHA program prepares the student for certification. The class is completed during the same semester. (See Occupational Outlook Handbook.)
Approvals
The Home Health Aide Program at Crafton Hills College is approved by the Department of Public Health, State of California (CDPH), following Title 22 regulations.
