This session will cover the integration and use of the Turnitin AI indicator alongside the Similarity Report.  Both the AI Indicator and the Similarity Report contain nuanced information which provide information about the student writing process.  Whether you are integrating or mitigating use of AI tools in your curriculum, this session can help you use the Turnitin tools to maximize the formative opportunities to help students improve their writing and attribution skills.  During the session we will cover:

  • Learn about the changing nature of plagiarism as technology has changed
  • Understand the basics of the Turnitin AI Indicator (including system requirements and 3rd party efficacy research)
  • Review Similarity Reports and AI Indicator results in context (including interactions with other tools)
  • Implement best practices for using Turnitin with your students
